THE FLOW OF THE FUTURE
art & design exhibition

Water, meant as the vital flow sustaining the planet, is the theme that has inspired nhow Milano to host the exhibition project Orizzonti Sostenibili, curated by Alessia Bennani and reinterpreted as: “The flow of the future”. The purpose of the exhibition is to invite the viewer to dive into a sustaibable future with consciousness and responsability, throught a flow featured by urban transformations and committment towards environmental protection.

Giangaetano Patanè

Patanè was born in Rome in 1968, attended a painting course at the “College of art of Edimburgh”. In 1996 he placed a bronze monument in S.Maria in Ara Coleli – Rome, in 2000 and 2002 won a scholarship that took him to Sydney and Cologne respectively. Since 2008 he opens the studio at the “Pastificio Cerere” in Rome. He is featured in public and private collections.

Sergio Villa Mobilitaly is a furniture line born from the long-standing collaboration between Swiss architect Carlo Rampazzi and Sergio Villa’s decoration atelier in Brianza, Italy. The firm operates at a very high level in the international arena and produces a series of collections and unique pieces in which elements of cultural tradition and of the contemporary come together.

Massimo Catalani

Massimo Catalani, born in 1960, is a Roman Architect and Artist engaged for 30 years in the protection of the marine environment and water in general. His works with large cetaceans are a symbol of the protection of the seas and marine fauna. Massimo is present in the Farnesina Collection, desired by many Ambassadors as an emblem of Italian identity in the world.

Edward Spitz

Edward Spitz is an artist who breaks the narrative pattern of comics and turns it into a work of art. He debuted with his first exhibition in 2017 in Tel Aviv and his success began to emerge. He partecipates from there to a series of events that quickly brought him into the homes of numerous collectors around the world.

Domenico Pellegrino

Domenico Pellegrino is an Italian artist, sculptor and creator of urban light installations.
His works have been chosen by Disney for Star Wars and he has collaborated with the maison Hermés and Dior. In 2021 he was chosen as Hermés’ lead artist for all Italian boutiques. He is also the author of the luminaria for Procida City of Culture 2022. Domenico represents the tradition of Italian identity with his luminarias.

Carlo Rampazzi

Born in Ascona, he has manifested a penchant for aesthetics and beauty from a very young age. Currently, Carlo Rampazzi designs and produces with decorator Sergio Villa, in limited editions, his own line of furniture and furnishing accessories in which the high level of craftsmanship and the eclecticism of his formal language are shown.

Annalaura Di Luggo

Annalaura di Luggo (1970) is an artist born in Naples where she lives and works. Present at the 58th Venice Biennale and at the United Nations in New York. Her path moves between multimedia and pictorial research. The complexity and variety of her work and installation stimulate a dialogue on social and environmental issues with the viewer, who is the protagonist of the conceptual action.

04 - FOURTH FLOOR

Giulio Rigoni

Giulio Rigoni works and lives in Rome. In the search for balance between classical aesthetics and a contemporary way of conceiving forms, his art is charged with unreal, often enchanted images, suspended in atmospheres that suggest distant and mythical times, leaving the viewer with the task of decoding their meaning according to a personal interpretation.

Davide Medri

His achievements are selected to represent Italy in Paris for the Révélation Exhibition at the Grand Palais Ephémère in June 2023, The International Biennial of Artistic Craftsman and Creation. ARTHOTEL selects and proposes works made with mirror fragments. The reuse of those elements allows to make unique pieces of art design completely recycled, recyclable and sustainable works of art.
