Last Sunday we held our first Classic Open Mic Night at the nhow Berlin!

The Seefestspiele Berlin, ZDF and arte are searching for the cast for the four main roles for Volker Schlöndorff's production of the opera "Carmen": Micaela, Don Jose and Escamillo.

As always I am lagging behing with my writing. Unfortunately, the day only has limited hours. Among many things we currently had this very talented producing team working in studio1. I am looking forward to their next visit, maybe then we'll get to write a song together!

It's spring in Berlin! Finally! YEEHA!!! Sorry folks, just overly excited about seeing the sun today and - believe it or not - not having to wear gloves while riding the bike to work. Unbelievable!

After a long quiet, I am back with news from our studios.

German recording and performing artist SIDO walked in with his crew consisting of Liquid Walker, Bass Sultan Hengzt, and DJ Desue. Not only is there a new song in the making, the night might result in a legendary music video. My good friend Ben Voss rolled in to film the night in the studio. It's simply fabulous to have room service at hand and be able to crash after hours and hours in our space ship.

Hey ho my dearest friends, let me announce to you, that our baby, our very own open mic night just celebrated it's first anniversary. And like any proud parents would do, we took plenty of pictures and even made a video. So go ahead and check it out! YAY!!!

If you want to try it yourself, here's the recipe for the bread dough:

400 ml milk 3 tablespoons of oil

4 teaspoons of sugar

2 tablespoons of salt

½ tablespoon of allspiece
