It's spring in Berlin! Finally! YEEHA!!! Sorry folks, just overly excited about seeing the sun today and - believe it or not - not having to wear gloves while riding the bike to work. Unbelievable!

Hey ho my dearest friends, let me announce to you, that our baby, our very own open mic night just celebrated it's first anniversary. And like any proud parents would do, we took plenty of pictures and even made a video. So go ahead and check it out! YAY!!!

Nhow Berlin has won the TOP Hotel Opening Award 2011 and is Germany's most important new hotel in the category “Exceptional”!

Out of 140 newly opened hotels, the nhow Berlin was nominated along with the 25hours HafenCity Hamburg, the Fire & Ice Düsseldorf/Neuss and the Hotel-Café Hüttenpalast Berlin.

Yeah, you heard me! F***ck Paris! And Rome! And Venice! And while you're at it, f***ck those cheesy Niagara Falls, too!

Now you probably think, it might not have been the smartest idea of my superiors to ask me, a single girl by conviction, to write something nice about Valentine's Day. But far from it!

Visiting the city of cool and having a simply outstanding night at one of the most phenomenal clubs I've ever been to for the purpose of a birthday celebration - I can clearly predicate, I never really experienced anything equally fabulous - and I truly have seen a lot in my life.

Using the words of a rather expressive GQ editor:
